Clear Acne Quickly
Could someone please explain how it’s possible that they’ve put a man on the moon, but have yet to discover a way to clear acne once and for all? There are computers smaller than a PopTart, and pills for everything from hair loss to virility loss… and yet we can’t seem to stop the spread of the dreaded breakout. Frankly, it would seem that science has a lot of work left to do on the pimple front.
Until that magic potion is finally discovered, take a look at these ideas to wage your own war against the acne monster.
Help from the garden
You know how cucumbers reduce the puffiness and skin drama from underneath your eyes after a long night of partying? Well, they can do wonders for revitalizing the rest of your face as well. Blend one cucumber in the blender with just enough water to form a paste and apply to your pimple prone areas for a moisturizing masque that’s sure to help you clear acne away.
Try a multi-step system
One of the toughest parts about trying to clear acne is that your skin has so many different needs. Instead of simply slapping on your basic over the counter zit zapping cream, look for a regimen that contains a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for the best benefit.
Your friends Aloe and Vera
If you have a pimple threatening to erupt, and you’re looking for a little something to sooth the affected area why not try some aloe vera? Aloe cools the skin where the lesion occurred and helps speed the healing process. When you’re trying to clear acne, you need all the moisture you can get.
Cornmeal…really?
Fill up a bowl with some cornmeal and add just enough water make a creamy paste. Apply this paste to your face for about 30 minutes or so, then rinse the paste off with plenty of cool water. Try this method a couple of times a week for noticeably smoother, more blemish free skin.
A little sweet and sour does the trick
All you need for this little tip is some roses. You’ll need to make some rose water by steeping the petals in hot water and then allowing the water to cool completely before straining the roses out. I know it’s hard but you’re going to have to destroy a few blooms to help keep your face pretty. Watch out for those thorns!
Once you’ve made your rose water, apply directly to your skin with a cotton ball. This astringent and antibacterial concoction will help you clear acne and should also speed up the healing process to prevent scaring.
Eat your veggies
There is still no concrete correlation between your food intake and the state of your complexion—but it does stand to reason that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will help keep you hydrated and feeling good… and that has to be essential in the clear skin fight.
